Updated for 2022! I was in denial for quite some time after Nutpods discontinued their Vanilla Lemon flavor. It was the perfect compliment to almost any tea. Yes, years later, I’m still mourning. But I can’t ignore all of the flavors they’ve released in its place. So today I’m giving our Nutpods Dairy-Free Creamer listing a big update. It includes old favorites, new members, and seasonal delights, like Pumpkin Spice, Coffee Cake, and Classic Chocolate!
Nutpods Unsweetened Dairy-Free Creamer has a Flavor for Every Season
Nutpods is the dairy-free, sugar-free creamer that I know many of you have been looking for. To be honest, I didn’t even like creamer until I met Nutpods.
All of their flavors are completely unsweetened, so you can enjoy your cup of caffeine with just a nice hint of flavor, or you can sweeten it to taste with your chosen sweetener. But what truly dazzled me about nutpods was the consistency. It seamlessly submerged into my acidic hot tea, even without stirring, and it provided a gently creamy and full-bodied mouth feel. At first sip I thought, “this is what creamer should taste like!”

Nutpods Dairy-Free Creamer Comes in Shelf-Stable and Refrigerated Packages
All Nutpods Dairy-Free Creamer flavors come in their 11.2-ounce shelf-stable packages. The French Vanilla can also be found in a larger, 32-ounce shelf-stable package. They can be stored at room temperature when sealed, but must be refrigerated once opened.
Their French Vanilla, Original, Caramel, and Hazelnut, flavors, as well as seasonal Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha, are also sold in refrigerated packages. They were initially sold in smaller 16-ounce milk-style cartons, but in 2020, Nutpods announced an upsizing. The refrigerated varieties are transitioning to larger 25.4-ounce cartons. These are sold chilled, and must remain refrigerated before and after opening.

It didn’t make a dramatic difference to the flavor of my coffee – it looked thick and creamy, but the caramel flavor was almost non-existent. I ended up adding a shot of caramel to my coffee along with some almond milk just to make it taste good. Pretty expensive for something that doesn’t really do what it purports to do.

I have never loved sweet coffee and always used plain creamers (not always easy to find in a sea of flavored creamers). So I’ve been a fan of the original flavor a long time. It’s just so good. But then I saw Caramel at my local Target and had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised to find it’s not sweet, like most flavored creamers. The best analogy I have is these are the creamer equivalent to flavored seltzers. If you’re used to and enjoy sweet, you’ll probably want to add your own sweetener. My guess is that will bring the flavor more to the forefront but I haven’t tried it. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

I’m a tea drinker and this is my favorite dairy-free creamer brand. I was disappointed when the Vanilla Lemon flavor was discontinued (it was seriously made for tea!), but their other flavors are great too. It melds seamlessly and is quite creamy with a pleasant mouthfeel. I love that there are no added sugars, since I don’t typically add sweetener to my tea.
