Sprouting grains reportedly unlocks nutrition and aids absorption of the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients within. They also say that sprouting makes the grains more easily digestible. And I may just be a believer. My husband has had notable troubles with wheat, but he isn’t Celiac. He had tried the occasional wheat challenge with no luck, but decided to give Silver Hills Sprouted Bread a try. And what do you know… his body loves it!

Silver Hills Sprouted Bread is the Ultimate in Whole Grains
This is hands down, my favorite store-bought brand of bread. I like to bake our own bread, when possible. But it’s trickier these days since I don’t always have an oven or proper supplies. So I’ve been leaning on Silver Hills Sprouted Bread a little more.
The first time I bought bread by Silver Hills Bakery was probably more than a decade ago. Their Squirrelly loaf was on sale, and looked deliciously hearty. It didn’t disappoint. Since then, I’ve tried several different varieties of Silver Hills Sprouted Bread. They’re all wonderfully hearty, earthy, and “nutty” (but nut-free) in taste. But there are a few that I repeatedly buy. Since they have twelve different loaves, I’ll include specifics on my favorites, followed by a quick list of the rest.

We received a sample of their English Muffins on launch. They weren’t quite up to snuff (definitely some production issues!). But they have hit the mainstream, so I’m guessing those have been worked out.
The also bake Bagels, Burger Buns, and Hot Dog Buns, but we haven’t found them in store yet!
