I know what some of you are thinking. Where did So Delicious Frozen Mousse go? It was becoming rather scarce in the freezer section. But it’s back with a new name, new look, and some new flavors! It’s now called So Delicious Dairy Free Light Frozen Dessert, and the pints have changed from black with white lettering to white with black lettering, to match the rest of their vegan ice cream product lines.

So Delicious Dairy Free Light Ice Cream is Next Level Frozen Mousse

As for the flavors, So Delicious kept their top four Frozen Mousse varieties. And despite the big image shake-up, they have the exact same formula. But So Delicious has added two brand new flavors. Mint Chip and Tiramisu are joining their soft, fluffy, Light Ice Cream line up.

Unlike many other “light” brands, which can be hard and/or gritty, So Delicious Dairy Free Light Ice Cream is smooth, creamy, and cloud-like. You can, and should, expect your ice cream scoop to glide right through it. And since it’s made with coconut oil, instead of coconut cream, the coconut flavor isn’t as pronounced as in their coconut milk ice creams.

Peanut Butter

The peanut butter swirl in this flavor is rich and sweetened, and reminds me of the center of a peanut butter cup.

Ingredients: filtered water, organic tapioca syrup, erythritol, organic cane sugar, organic coconut oil, chicory root extract, peanuts, peanut oil, pea protein, salt, guar gum, sunflower lecithin, xanthan gum, natural flavor. Salted Caramel

This coconut-influenced flavor has a deep salted caramel ribbon and generously-sized shards of semi-sweet chocolate scattered throughout.

Cocoa Chip (formerly Chocolate Chip)

They doubled down on the chocolate add-ins in this pint. It’s swirled with a light fudge sauce and the same thick semi-sweet chocolate flakes found in the Salted Caramel flavor.

The generous pink ribbons taste like homemade strawberry syrup against a light ice cream backdrop.

We’re excited to see them add this beloved flavor, since it tends to be delicious with coconut ice cream.
